2024 Investment Performance Wrap Up

2024 Snapshot Investment Performance.

With the 2024 calendar year coming to a close, at money on deck, we take the time to review our portfolio quickly. The headlines are:

  • 17.43% total portfolio return compared to our benchmark the ASX 200 which returned 12.30% with both numbers including dividends.

  • The GOLD ETF was the best-performing holding with a return of 38.20% for the year and this ETF does not pay dividends.

  • The poorest performer was Adore Beauty an ASX-listed small cap, with a -12.26% return. We still see great long-term opportunities in this company.

We also took the opportunity to rebalance the portfolio and add some small positions in the Global X 21Shares Bitcoin ETF and Ethereum ETF.
